Statement on Privacy and Ts & Cs (March 2024)
I’m Stephanie Kirk, a sole proprietor and owner of Three Minute Call, and its associated website you’re viewing. If anyone ever clicks on this link, I hope it puts your mind at rest.
The website doesn’t collect much data, but the reports may reveal your IP address to me, which I have no use for, except to see where in the world my visitors are from. That’s all I might occasionally use that for.
If you email or call me and therefore give me your contact data such as business or personal emails or phone numbers, or your company information, I will store it on devices such as my laptop and mobile phone. I won’t willingly give out your details to anyone at all, without your prior consent.
My devices are secured with passwords, or biometrics and I am vigilant in keeping them locked. I don’t use public networks to gain access to the internet. I use my own home broadband or mobile signal, or a client’s secured network.
I keep logs of invoices and payments in a secured file, shared only with me and my accountant. He seems pretty solid on security issues, but if he or the Netherlands tax office fucks up, I’ll refer you to them direct.
If you work with me and pay me, my bank will retain your company’s bank details in my account, as a record of who paid me. My banking apps are secured with two-factor authentication on my devices. And I think we can trust a major bank, and their security setup, but that’s not on me.
If you have any security concerns about how your data may be used or who can access it, feel free to email me: stephanie@threeminutecall.com or phone +31 (0)620056519.
In terms of my Ts & Cs, If you engage with me on a project - hooray! - we’ll make sure we know what the terms are in our early meetings/emails. Usually I will agree a day rate with you, and we’ll confirm days per week and length of contract when we speak. My invoices will state the payment terms specifically.
If we agree a start date in writing, and you have to back out of the contract last minute, I’ll expect payment of the first ten days. That gives me time to locate another client.
We’ll also talk about and agree upon a termination notice period should something take an unexpected swerve during the contract. And I reserve the right to leave a contract early and immediately if the setting I’m working in becomes in any way untenable due to your environment; this could be due to a toxic setting or a culture of bullying or inequity for your people.
All other details, we can discuss during contract talks, so let’s get a coffee and make it happen.
